Terms of Service

1. Purpose

HortusPal is a garden management application. By using the service, you accept these terms.

2. The service

HortusPal helps you catalogue your plants, plan their care and keep a journal. Information (including AI-generated content) is provided for guidance only: it does not replace your judgement as a gardener, especially regarding plant edibility or toxicity.

3. Account

Sign-in uses a magic link sent to your email, with no password. You are responsible for access to your mailbox.

4. Subscriptions

Paid plans (Gardener, Master gardener) are billed monthly or yearly through our payment provider. The annual plan includes two free months. You can cancel anytime; access remains until the end of the paid period.

5. 14-day guarantee

For a first annual subscription, you have 14 days to request a full refund, once.

6. Liability

HortusPal is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee the botanical accuracy of every sheet and accept no liability for damage arising from following advice (planting, treatment, consumption).

7. Your data

You remain the owner of your data and can export it anytime (JSON/CSV). See our privacy policy.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; significant changes will be flagged in the app.
